Sylacauga police arrest suspect in murder case
SYLACAUGA, AL (WBRC)- Sylacauga police say that they have arrested the suspect in a Dec. 29 murder.
Police say that Cedric Thomas White, 36 of Sylacauga is responsible for the beating death of Ray Fednander, 67.
Fednander was found unresponsive on his porch that day and later died at the Coosa Valley Medical Center.
Officials say he was assaulted with an edged weapon and beaten to death. A neighbor says Fednander whispered the name of his attacker before dying. He lived in the 600 block of Morris Avenue.
